Why connect Cdiscount with easySales

Cdiscount is one of the largest online marketplaces in France, and selling on it means keeping your listings, prices, stock, and orders in order across yet another channel. easySales brings Cdiscount into a single dashboard alongside the rest of your sales channels, so you manage one catalog and one order stream instead of switching between screens.

Once connected, your Cdiscount orders flow into easySales ready to invoice, process with automation flows, and ship. Your catalog goes the other way: easySales publishes your products to Cdiscount and keeps their prices and stock up to date, so you maintain one catalog instead of editing each Cdiscount listing by hand.

⚠ Cdiscount is a new integration, currently in beta. It works, but you may run into the occasional rough edge while we finish it — test your first offers and orders carefully, and let us know if anything looks off.

How the Cdiscount connector works

Cdiscount's marketplace runs on Octopia, its marketplace technology partner, and easySales connects to Cdiscount through the Octopia API. In practice that means easySales acts as an approved aggregator: rather than each seller creating their own API keys, easySales connects with one shared set of credentials, and you simply authorize easySales to act for your store and tell easySales which store you are.

So the connection has two sides:

• On the Octopia side, you grant easySales access. You do this once, in your Octopia seller area, by authorizing easySales's aggregator client. This is what lets easySales read and manage your Cdiscount listings and orders on your behalf.
• In easySales, you identify your store with your Seller ID. That's the only detail you enter in easySales — no API keys or secrets. Your Seller ID is what easySales attaches to every request so Cdiscount knows which store to work with.

After that, syncing runs on its own: easySales publishes and updates your offers on Cdiscount, and imports your Cdiscount orders automatically.

Prerequisites — what to prepare before you start

A few things need to be in place before your first sync.

An active Cdiscount seller account

You need a live Cdiscount (Octopia) seller account. Cdiscount is a French marketplace, so it fits sellers who ship to France.

Your Cdiscount seller account identifier — it's the one detail you enter in easySales to link the connection to your store.

Your products organized into categories in easySales, so you can map them to Cdiscount categories before you publish.

A billing series that matches your invoicing software, so imported Cdiscount orders are numbered correctly from the start.

Step 1 — Grant easySales access on Octopia

Before easySales can manage your store, you authorize it on the Octopia side. Open the API Credentials page in your Octopia seller area (developer.octopia-io.net/user-guides/api-credentials). Under I'm using a feed aggregator, choose I know my aggregator's clientId.

On the next step, enter the client ID easySales provides — easySales — tick Using the API requires acceptation of the platform's Terms & Conditions, and click Confirm my aggregator clientId.

Octopia then asks you to grant access to your seller account for that client ID. Click Proceed with seller authentication and sign in with your Cdiscount seller account to finish linking it to easySales.

Finally, click Proceed with seller authentication and sign in with your Cdiscount seller account to complete the link.⚠ This access grant is what makes the connection work. If you skip it — or if your Seller ID is entered incorrectly — easySales will get a "Forbidden" response from Cdiscount when you try to connect, because Cdiscount doesn't yet recognize easySales as authorized for your store. Complete the grant on Octopia first, then connect in easySales.

Step 2 — Add Cdiscount in easySales

In easySales, from the sidebar go to Integrations → Marketplaces, find the Cdiscount card, and click Connect on it. The Cdiscount settings form opens with two tabs: Main settings (the core configuration) and Additional settings (sync behavior). You'll work in Main settings first.

Step 3 — Fill in your connection settings

On the Main settings tab, tell easySales how to identify your store, price your offers, and handle your orders:

• Connection Name — a label you choose for this connection. Only visible inside easySales, so name it something you'll recognize if you connect more than one Cdiscount store.
• Seller ID — your Cdiscount seller account identifier. This is the key field: it's how easySales tells Cdiscount which store each request is for. Enter the same seller account you authorized on Octopia in Step 1.
• Price Addition — a percentage added on top of your product price; set it to 0 for no markup. It applies whenever easySales sends your price to Cdiscount.
• Default Tax Rate — the default VAT percentage applied to your offers and orders. Set it to 0 if you're not a VAT payer.
• Default shipping tax — the VAT rate applied to the shipping line on your Cdiscount orders.
• Invoice Series — the default billing series assigned to imported Cdiscount orders, matching the series you use in your invoicing software.

On the Main settings tab, enter your Seller ID and set your connection name, price addition, tax rates, and invoice series.

Click Save to create the connection. easySales checks the connection with Cdiscount as you save — if it goes through, your Cdiscount card moves to your connected marketplaces.

Step 4 — Fine-tune the sync

The Additional settings tab controls how easySales keeps your offers in sync with Cdiscount after the connection is live. All three are simple Yes/No choices:

• Send offer prices to marketplace — keep your Cdiscount prices updated from easySales. On by default.
• Send offer stock to marketplace — keep your Cdiscount stock updated from easySales. On by default.
• Automatically enable offers when products have stock — reactivate offers automatically once a product is back in stock above zero.

The Additional settings tab controls whether easySales keeps your Cdiscount prices and stock in sync, and how offers re-enable when a product is back in stock.

How your offers sync to Cdiscount

Connecting the account doesn't put your catalog on Cdiscount by itself — you choose which products to list.

From the sidebar, go to Online Shops → Products, select the products you want to sell on Cdiscount, and from the bulk-actions bar use the Add offer(s) on action, choosing your Cdiscount connection. easySales creates a Cdiscount offer for each product, linked to it in your catalog. From then on the offer's price and stock stay tied to the source product, and easySales updates Cdiscount automatically whenever they change. Your published offers appear under Marketplaces → Offers, on the Cdiscount tab, where you can review and edit them.

Two conditions decide whether an offer actually reaches Cdiscount:

• The offer must be linked to a catalog product. Only offers linked to a product in your catalog are sent — that link is what keeps price and stock in sync. Offers created through Add offer(s) on are linked automatically.
• Its category must be mapped to a Cdiscount category. Map it from Online Shops → Categories (edit a category, then Map), unless the product's barcode already matches an existing Cdiscount listing — in that case easySales attaches your offer to it automatically.

easySales sends each offer as a complete update — price (with your taxes), stock, and delivery details together — so your Cdiscount listing always reflects the current state of the product.

How Cdiscount orders work

Orders run the other way. easySales checks Cdiscount for new and updated orders and imports them automatically — they land under Orders & Customers → Orders ready for invoicing and flows, matched to your products and priced in euro. When a new order needs acknowledging, easySales accepts it back on Cdiscount for you, so you don't have to confirm each one by hand.

ℹ One thing to know about fulfillment: easySales does not upload invoices or shipping labels to Cdiscount. You still generate invoices and AWBs in easySales as usual for your own records and processing — they're just not sent back to Cdiscount, so handle shipping confirmation on the Cdiscount side as your marketplace requires.
